JOIN US as we demand justice and health protections for the sixteen thousand people who live close to Murphy Drill Site in the West Adams/South L.A. area. There are also multiple care facilities, educational centers and schools in the direct neighborhood. For years there has been community demand for common-sense health protections that are afforded whiter, wealthier areas of Los Angeles but the City of L.A. refuses to make this a requirement.
The faith voice is instrumental in this fight and we need yours! Details:

This event will feature an interfaith panel discussion and QnA on how the faith community can help overcome hate and reduce violence. Speakers include: Sharon Matsushige Crandall, PRISM Restorative Justice; Umar Hakim, LA Voice; Rabbi Sarah Hronsky, Board of Rabbis of Southern California; Tal Lavin, author of "Culture Warlords"; Antoinette Scully, UU Women's Federation; and Rev. Vernon Kemp, Pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tarzana.
