Good news! Governor Newson just released an Executive Order ranging from EVs to clean energy to the remediation and transition of oil and gas industries in the Golden State. It includes the mandate that, by 2035, 100 percent of in-state sales of new passenger cars and trucks will be zero-emission. Read the September 23 EO here.
California Interfaith Power & Light has been a strong advocate for cleaner transportation for years. Electric vehicles are paving the way to healthier communities and reduced pollution linked to climate change. Not only has the California faith community been switching to electric vehicles, houses of worship are installing EV charging stations, which makes the choice of an EV more practical.
Check out our newly-revised “Electric Faith: An Overview of EV’s and Charging Stations for Congregations.” Do you want a convenient summary of the Guide? Download and print out our handy-dandy one-pager.
