Welcome to our online East Palo Alto Community Air Hub, brought to you by St. Mark’s AME Zion and CIPL.
We are your neighbors. We are parents, grandparents, youth, and elders who live here, breathe here, and are committed to making our air cleaner for everyone, especially our little ones.
You don’t need to be a scientist to know when the air is bad. You can smell the diesel from the highway and you feel it when your child’s asthma flares up. Did you know in East Palo Alto, children are hospitalized for asthma at more than twice the rate of kids in neighboring cities?
Our children’s lungs are not negotiable.
That’s why we are partnering to share with our neighbors about air quality and what we can do to clean up God’s creation so all can breathe clean air. Stay tuned for future events and ways you can stay involved!
What’s in the Air?
