Cool Climate Award Winner: Trinity + St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

October 8, 2025 by Gregory Stevens

Our next winner is St. Peter’s+Trinity Episcopal Church in San Francisco, receiving the Perseverance Award! As the oldest Episcopal church in California, they’ve stood strong through generations of change — from the city’s booms and busts to shifting neighborhood landscapes and evolving congregational life. Through it all, their steadfast faith, commitment to service, and deep love for their community have never wavered.

They’re taking bold steps forward to live their values and care for creation — installing solar panels to power their sanctuary sustainably, tending a vibrant community garden that feeds neighbors and builds connection, and organizing regular cleanups to keep the streets around their congregation beautiful and safe for everyone. Join us to hear the full inspiring story of faith in action and community transformation!

Join us at the California Cool Climate Awards:
