We are thrilled to announce that The Reverend Daniel Tamm and the Los Angeles Faith and Ecology Network (LAFEN) are this year’s recipients of the Climate Advocacy Award at the California Cool Climate Awards 2025!

The Rev. Daniel Tamm chairs the CIPL regional group LA Faith & Ecology Network, a vibrant network of clergy and green team leaders committed to environmental stewardship. As an ordained deacon with the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, Daniel also serves as Advocacy Chair for the Bishop’s Commission on Climate Change and the President of the Interfaith Solidarity Network.
Under the leadership of the Rev. Tamm, LAFEN organized the “Climate Justice Now!” interfaith rally in Altadena. This rally allowed local residents to bear witness to the damages of the Eaton Canyon wildfire and hear powerful testimonies from clergy leaders who lost their houses of worship to this climate-fueled disaster. The rally also highlighted the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act as a meaningful climate solution for California.
