More than twenty years ago, we came together to form California Interfaith Power & Light (CIPL), pioneering a model that eventually inspired the creation of a national organization, now active in 39 other states. CIPL is grounded in the Interfaith Power & Light (IPL) movement and our vision for climate action. Now California Interfaith Power & Light is growing our program in our beloved Golden State.
As an independent organization, CIPL will be able to maintain a robust presence and focus on California, the largest state in the union and 5th largest economy in the world. In order to advance the kind of climate solutions that are required now, we need our own independent organization. And thanks to you, it’s happening
