Talking to Kids about Global Warming, What can Kids Do,
Simple Ways for Kids to Reduce Their Energy Use and Additional Resources.

This new video, produced by The
Regeneration Project seeks to engage a religious response by showing the
devastating effects of global climate change. The twenty minute video is an
excellent resource for a workshop or other type of educational event at your
congregation. It provides an overview of a faith response to global warming
and simple ways to cut energy use in your congregation.
The Lighten Up Video is free for all CIPL members and includes a Lighten Up Video Facilitator's Study Guide to help in the group process by answering some frequently asked questions and providing links to important educational resources.
If you would like to order a copy (video and DVD formats available) or have questions, please call 415-561-4891 or info@theregenerationproject.org.
Public Policy Page
CIPL is bringing the voice of California's religious community into the public debate over global warming. While we aim to set a good example with our energy choices, we know that our congregations acting alone cannot turn the tide of global warming. The policies that our government and our society as a whole choose to adopt will ultimately determine the extent to which we alter the earth's climate.
