In 2018, CIPL aims to provide information making energy-efficency and zero-emission technology available to all people. One of these measures is Electric Vehicles. There are multiple benefits of electric vehicles: ditching oil, cleaning the air, spending less to maintain your vehicle, enjoying a far better driving experience, and protecting Creation! And, you may be aware that transportation is now the largest source of greenhouse gases in California and that electric cars produce no greenhouse gases. But what many don’t know is that driving an EV is becoming easier and more affordable all the time.
There was great attendance and lively discussion in the January 23 EV Webinar hosted by CIPL and featuring the Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association. Topics covered included: the religious and social reasons for driving an EV, affordability, rebates, and California’s leadership in EV growth.
